The Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association is a non-profit organization committed to teaching sportsmanship and basketball skills to children and youth through coach mentored practice and competition. |

The Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association (LMBA) operates in partnership with Basketball Alberta and Basketball Canada to provide Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) to children in Southern Alberta. Our season runs on Saturdays, from Jan. 10, 2009 until April 4, 2009. All practice and league games will be played at Lethbridge Collegiate Institue (located at 5th Ave. & 17 St. S.) and Gilbert Paterson Middle School (2109 12 Ave. S.). We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach, referee, score, and time keep. Experience is great but not required. Application forms will be available at registration. A coach and referee training clinic will occur on January 7,2009 at 6:00 pm. Coaches will receive a 3 hour SNYB coach’s clinic, coach’s manual, T- shirt and coach’s lesson plan book.

Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) is a national youth basketball program designed to develop skills, sportsmanship and a love for the game. The goal of the program allows players the opportunity to maximize their potential, while promoting the importance of youth basketball as a vehicle to build character, discipline, self-esteem and sportsmanship. |
